We had a large pine that had died very close to our house with limbs that reached over parts of the house. Rodriguez Service was very professional and took great care in bringing down the limbs and the entire tree. They also cleaned up some other trees that had fallen over and needed removal. Everything was accomplished safely, efficiently, and as exactly discussed. Very friendly and understanding. There are now my tree service of choice.

I had a few bids done on the work needed, and Rodriguez came in about the middle. I decided to work with them because their communication was far superior to the other companies. Called to follow up, sent timely comprehensive estimates and booking was easy. Day of work they showed up early to set up and started right on time. Rodriguez Tree Service recently removed a dead tree behind the house that had been threatening to drop its branches on the roof.  The tree was a monster pine, probably more than fifty years old and towered over out house and the neighbor's.  We were also inundated with pine needles every day.  Our HOA contracted with Rodriguez tree service to remove the tree.

Rodriguez Brothers arrived right on time with their crew and equipment, parked very carefully, navigating a parking lot, and set to work.  They worked efficiently, tirelessly, and safely.  Each branch was removed as it was felled, and piled in the parking lot, ready to be chipped.  

As they ascended the tree, they sent down larger and larger branches, eventually tying off and dropping the larger branches.  The brothers worked together in an almost choreographed rhythm, each person knew their part and was very skillful at it.  The tree came down in one eight hour day, and the branches were chipped the same day.

They left the area clean with no debris left behind, but returned the next day to rake and remove any detritus from the job.  They were professional and take pride in their work!

Rodriquez Tree Service did an amazing job trimming our trees, including some massive Monterey Cypress trees that were so overgrown that they were ugly and potentially dangerous. We just had a number of oak trees around our house and property thinned and trimmed.  If you need a tree service, we recommend Rodriguez Tree Service.  We had 3 bids that came in at about the same cost.  We liked Rodriguez because they were very professional.  They provided their certificate of liability insurance and their contractor's license information up front. And they were prompt in submitting their written estimate to us.

They had a great crew.  Fast, courteous, and responsive.  Our trees look great.  They worked to our specifications and cleaned up thoroughly when they were done.

I recently bought a 5+ acre property in the foothills of Santa Cruz, with dozens of 100+ foot madrones, oaks and redwoods. Many of which were damaged or leaning/falling down. Additionally there were areas of dense brush along the road side including a huge stand of Acacia and a complicated pair of dead Madrone overhanging the road. My powerlines were also entangled with several trees. In short, quite a lot of work in both effort and complexity.

Over several weeks, I think I had EVERY Rodriguez crew out, including Jeu, his brother and father! (Dad still climbs trees!) - they were great all around in balancing requirements vs. effort vs. time.

If you have a large, rural property.. you can't really turn it into a park, you want to balance it looking natural with the amount of effort - Jeu & his company understand this and did a great job for a very fair price.

Best experience with a tree service I've had so far.   Other services have been overpriced and have left  trees looking butchered or untouched.  Rodriguez was fast too respond, quick with a clear quote, was very knowledgeable and showed great attention to detail and expertise about the trees, and best of all his crew was on time and executed the job just as described by the boss.  They removed a large tree and stump along our neighboring fence line with no damage to fence or surroundings.  They also prunes two large trees that had been left bare by prior services and really made them come back to life.  Great job!
